BASUNDHARA is a Voluntary Organisaton registered under the Society Registration Act 1860. It was established in the year 1985 and has been working restlessly to achieve its purpose since that. Working as an ideal rehabilitation center for the children, women and elders in distress, their care, shelter and long-term rehabilitation is its prime concern..

Our History
Founded in 1985, Basundhara began its journey with a simple yet powerful commitment—to extend care, protection, and hope to those facing vulnerability and hardship. What started as a dedicated effort to support children in need has gradually evolved into a comprehensive social welfare organization serving children, women, and senior citizens across Odisha.
