The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit at Ghanashyam College promotes humanitarian values, social service, and a spirit of compassion among students. It aims to reduce human suffering and foster peace, cooperation, and community well-being through various service-oriented activities. YRC volunteers are trained in first aid, disaster management, and health awareness programs, equipping them with essential skills to respond effectively during emergencies. The unit actively organizes and participates in blood donation camps, health camps, and awareness drives on important social and health issues.
